What we collect, and why.
Plain version. When you use an intake form on this site to tell us about a workflow problem, here's exactly what happens to what you send.
What we collect
- What you type — your description of the workflow problem, and any follow-up answer.
- Your contact details — the email you give us, and a phone number if you choose to add one.
- Basic request data — your IP address and browser user-agent, captured automatically when you submit, used only to prevent spam and abuse.
No audio, ever
If you use the voice option, your speech is transcribed to text inside your own browser using your browser's built-in speech feature. The audio is never recorded, uploaded, or stored on our servers. We only ever receive the text — the same text you can see and edit before sending.
Why we collect it
To understand your problem and reply to you. Your submission is stored so a person on our team can read it and respond by email. An automated assistant may reflect your problem back and ask one clarifying question, but a human handles the actual response. We do not sell or share your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Submissions are retained for up to 12 months so we can follow up, then deleted. Spam-prevention request data is kept only briefly.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your submission and contact details at any time — email hello@shastra.tech and we'll remove them. Providing information is entirely optional; you can also just email us directly instead of using the form.
