Method

Find the leverage point. Build only that. Own the result.

"Shastra" is a Sanskrit word for a body of disciplined knowledge — a method. Ours is simple to say and hard to do: don't ask what AI can do; find the one place it should, and stay with it until it works.

The principle

The value is in the choice, not the model.

A capable model is now a commodity. What's scarce is judgment about where to point it. A single business has dozens of plausible places to add AI; most of them aren't worth it. The skill — the entire skill — is finding the spot where a relatively small build moves the largest amount of work without handing the model a dangerous amount of authority.

We borrow the discipline of process bottleneck-mapping and aim it at AI:

  • Pull the last 10–20 real instances of a recurring process.
  • Sit with the people doing the work — the real process is never the one on the diagram.
  • Find the front-of-workflow bottleneck where the information to act already exists.
  • Rough-math the cost of that bottleneck so impact is provable, not promised.
The leverage point is usually a missing input that stalls everything behind it — where a flag and a nudge, not a decision, unlock the most work.

How we build

Guard-railed, inspectable, measured.

We build the simplest thing that solves the leverage point — nothing more. The system sees only the data it needs; sensitive fields are locked off by design. Before anything ships we write the test set: the concrete examples of right and wrong the system must get correct. That's how you get AI to deliver real work instead of confident guesses.

Then we deploy against reality and turn the flywheel. A system that scores well on sample files can still fail in production, so we watch what actually happens, learn, and tune until the value shows up in the numbers — time-to-act, cases cleared, hours reclaimed.

How we work with you

Async by design.

We know your day is full. You don't need to be on a call for us to make progress. Tell us the workflow that's slowing you down in a single email, and we drive from there — sending back findings, drafts, and decisions for you to react to on your own time.
